I love wall decals– they’re just about the easiest thing that you can use to make the room look completely different. If you haven’t tried them yet wall decals are vinyl decorations that stick directly onto your wall. They come off easily without damaging the wall or paint, and so are easy to re-position or switch around depending on your needs. So, I had a hard time choosing nursery wall decals until I saw this super-cute one– the Dena Happi Tree design. You can get it with other matching decals too, so that you can do up the whole room:
There’s an extra scroll-
And extra owl with flowers:
I’ve tried the Roomates brand decals by the way, and been really really happy with them. I’ve had to return others that didn’t stick properly, but the Roomates ones that I’ve bought in the past are still hanging well even after a year of use and multiple repositions.
If the decals weren’t absolutely cute enough, I’ve found out that you can also get tons of matching items including,
a lamp:
a blanket:
a hanging mobile:
wall art (though honestly it may be overkill if you have all the decals too):
an 8 Piece Crib Bedding Set:
a changing pad cover:
a hamper:
and a cute little owl pillow:
There was a nightlight, but it’s been out of stock everytime I checked (maybe you can find it elsewhere):
Together these make a great look in the nursery, they’re so co-ordinated and blend into a variety of color schemes that people might think you hired a designer to do the room. And if that happens, why correct them?
